Bikers Descend on Anacortes for 33rd Annual Oyster Run

Recognized as the largest motorcycle run in the Pacific Northwest, the 2014 Oyster Run is a free event with no official route or starting point. On Sunday, September 28, riders will make their way to downtown Anacortes, stopping at biker friendly businesses along the way.

To add to the festivities, Swinomish Casino & Lodge will be hosting the AC/DC cover band Hell’s Belles.  Endorsed by Angus Young himself (Blender Magazine, 2003), the all-female band is scheduled to rock the WA Walton Event Center at 7pm, with doors opening at 6pm. Wrist bands for this free concert will be given out on a first come, first-served basis. Attendees must be 18 years of age or older.

Other Sunday Happenings:

Sizzling Sunday
–    10 Randomly selected contestants will have the chance to pick an apple multiplier to determine their prize winnings. Each selected contestant will have the chance to multiply their winnings up to $500 in value. Hot Seat drawings will occur from 6pm to midnight.

Local’s appreciation
–    Whatcom, Snohomish, and British Columbia residents will receive a free $5 slot ticket with $20 buy in, along with a $5 dining discount that is valid throughout the property. There will also be five $100 winners between 4-8pm. See the Player’s Club for more details.
