Please join us in welcoming our newest 13moons employees, Shari Krugman and Elizabeth Crane!

Shari Krugman comes to the Swinomish Casino & Lodge as manager of 13moons Restaurant. Before joining our team she worked at various properties and amounted a wide range of experience, including the proprietor of her own steakhouse for eight years. She recently moved west and worked as the Food and Beverage Director for Guest Services, Inc. at Mount Rainier.  She worked most recently at Rockwell’s in Juno, Alaska. Shari enjoys kayaking, fishing, and anything to do with nature. She shops at the local farmer’s market to find ingredients to cook and bake with at home. Shari loves the food at 13moons, and how Chef Dan Van Norman features fresh, local seafood and produce on the menu. Shari is excited for the all new Happy Hour specials and is eager to share the amazing views from our 13moons patio!

Elizabeth Crane completed the Culinary Arts program at Skagit Valley College. Before becoming 13moon’s pastry chef, Elizabeth had worked at the Skagit Golf and Country Club for four years. Christine Greenlaw, our previous pastry chef, recommended the position to her. When Elizabeth isn’t dining at 13moons, she enjoys eating at the Skagit River Brewery. Outside of work, she loves to bake at home, play with dogs, and go hiking. Elizabeth appreciates the wide range and quality of the food in the 13moons kitchen.
