The Ladies Club at Swinomish Golf Links is hosting their Annual Charitable Tournament on Wednesday, July 26 to raise money for the Merle Cancer Care Center in Anacortes. This tournament is open to the public for both men and women. Check-in is at 7:30am, and the tournament will kick off with a shotgun start at 9am. Following the tournament, enjoy lunch and cheer on your fellow competitors at the award ceremony!

There will also be plenty of opportunities to win great prizes! Participants can purchase a raffle ticket to win a 50/50 drawing. In this drawing, 50% of the raffle pool will go to one lucky raffle winner, and the other 50% will be donated to the center. Raffle tickets to win an assortment of prizes, including golf lessons with one of the Swinomish Golf Links golf pros, will also be available for purchase.

Anyone who would like to play may register at Swinomish Golf Links. To register, players pay a discounted green fee of $35 (includes range balls and cart) and $20 entry fee, which includes lunch. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Merle Cancer Care Center. The tournament chairman, Joanne Jenkins, looks forward to bringing the community together.

“Last year’s tournament was a great success, but we hope to make an even bigger impact this year for our beneficiary,” Jenkins said. “We encourage everyone to come out for a day of fun, while supporting a great cause.”
