by ,

Swinomish Casino & Lodge will post updates here as they become available. Newest information will be posted at the top of the page.

UPDATE: April 3, 2020 | 3:30pm

Swinomish Indian Tribal Bingo opened in June 1985. Almost 11 years later the Swinomish Tribal Community opened Swinomish Casino and Two Salmon Café. The dreams of the tribal leaders continued to grow and so did the property! Here we are 35 years later with a casino, lodge, a variety of dining options and a golf course. Swinomish Casino & Lodge has made a positive financial impact not only on the Swinomish Tribal Community, but also on the surrounding communities. We understand the closure affects our team members and our communities which these decisions so difficult. In order to do our part and to combat the spread of COVID-19 Swinomish Casino & Lodge has extended our closure. Our exact opening date has not been determined. Please visit our website or follow us on social media for more updates.

During these uncertain times we are forced to make difficult decisions. Beginning April 5, 2020 non-essential team members will be furloughed. Full time team members will maintain their benefits through April. This decision was made with the health and safety of our team members, guests, and community as our number one priority.

We miss greeting and serving our guests during this time. We cannot wait to re-open and see the smiling faces of our valued guests as they return to Swinomish Casino & Lodge. When it is safe, we will re-open and continue to be your favorite casino. Please stay safe and healthy.

UPDATE: March 27, 2020 | 7:00pm

The wellness and safety of our community, guests, and team members continues to be the Swinomish Tribe’s top priority. In an effort to protect the community, the Swinomish Tribal Senate passed a Stay at Home Resolution. The provisions of the Tribe’s Resolution closely follow those of Governor Inslee’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy Order. The provisions of the Tribe’s Stay at Home resolution require the closure of all non-essential businesses until April 8th. Following the provisions of the resolution, the temporary closure of Swinomish Casino & Lodge is extended to April 8th. Swinomish Casino & Lodge will continue to monitor the recommendations and guidelines set by the CDC, Swinomish Tribe, and local public health officials to determine our exact reopening date.

In our continued effort to support our fantastic team members during this difficult time, Swinomish Casino & Lodge will continue to pay team members though April 5, 2020 and offer benefits to eligible team members for the month of April.

The Swinomish RV Park will be open with restrictions that allow for social distancing. Please visit Swinomi.sh/RVPark for complete details.

In an effort to provide essential supplies and services to the community, Swinomish Markets and Salish Coast Cannabis will remain open. Swinomish Markets will provide food, fuel, and other supplies. Salish Coast Cannabis will provide medical and recreational cannabis supplies. All Swinomish Market locations are taking many steps for the protection of both guests and team members, including disinfecting gas pump handles and key pads, increased cleaning and disinfecting of restrooms and in-store, high-touch areas, creating six-foot distancing for all lines, and installing plexiglass guards at the cashier stations. Swinomish Markets are continuously stocking the shelves with food and other essential products. The Markets are operating limited hours at all three locations:

Swinomish Market at the Casino: 6am – 10pm

Swinomish Market at the Links: 7am – 7pm

Swinomish Markets Village: 8am – 8pm

Although the stores will be operating with limited hours, the fuel pumps are available for fuel purchases 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Salish Coast Cannabis will be open to the public with similar safety steps in place, including creating six-foot distance for all lines, limiting the number of customers in the store to 10 at a time, sanitizing high-touch areas, limited handling of the product, installing plexiglass barriers, and offering fully operational online ordering with in-store or curbside pickup.

Please stay healthy and safe, continue to wash your hands, and practice social distancing. We care about the safety of our community. Please do all you can to stay healthy and protect the health of those around you.

We look forward to seeing you when Swinomish Casino & Lodge reopens to the public.

Please continue to follow us on Facebook and check back for more updates as they become available.

Important Safety Update: COVID-19

The health and safety of our guests and team members remain our top priority as more information unfolds regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). On top of our normal deep cleans and sanitization efforts, we are following guidelines set by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to help ensure we do not contribute to the spread of the virus. These additional efforts and guidelines include, but are not limited to:

  • Our Facilities team has implemented an additional round of deep cleaning between 3:00pm-4:00pm daily.
  • Hourly restroom checks and cleans will continue with special attention paid to ‘high’ touch areas.
  • Team members and guests are constantly reminded to wash their hands more frequently and effectively by using warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds as this has been proven to be the most effective way of preventing the spread of COVID-19.
  • Increased accessibility to alcohol-based hand sanitization stations and disinfecting products.
  • Departments have been given industrial-grade sanitization products used by our Facilities team so all of our team members can help keep our property clean, safe, and healthy.
  • The Facilities team has instituted a sanitization effort on the even hours throughout the day at all ‘high’ touch areas including, but not limited to:
    • All hand railings
    • Push/pull points on manual entry and exit doors
    • ATM’s and ticket redemption machines
    • The self-serve beverage area
    • Stanchions placed near the Cash Cage and Player’s Club

While we value our guests’ continued loyalty during this time, we encourage anyone who is experiencing symptoms or who may have been exposed to COVID-19 to stay safe and stay home to prevent further spread of the virus.

We are closely monitoring all available information related to COVID-19, including updates from the CDC, World Health Organization, Washington State, and tribal health organizations. We will continue to provide updates to our guests regarding any additional changes to our operation. For more information regarding COVID-19, visit the CDC website. For more information regarding our efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19 please contact us at info@swinomishcasino.com. Above all, please stay safe and healthy!
