Swinomish Casino & Lodge will present The Lalas at the Wa Walton Event Center on July 22 and July 23 at 7 p.m., featuring some of the nation’s most talented burlesque dancers.

Erin Lamont, owner and producer of The Lalas, has years of experience planning choreography for television and music videos in LA. The Lalas perform around 15 acts per show, and each performance’s themes are tailored to the location and audience.

Their most recent endeavor is “The Lalas Burlesque Comic Book Creation,” which is currently raising funding on Indiegogo, a crowdfunding site.

“[The dancers are] amazing people. They have such huge hearts. They’re so down-to-earth,” Lamont said. “Then on stage, they have this superhero power.”

Attendees to the Swinomish Casino & Lodge performance will be among the first to purchase the comic book. It’s scheduled to release in July, Lamont said.
