TRAINING
Swinomish Casino & Lodge provides ongoing training for team members in its gaming operation to assist in recognizing differences between responsible and problem gambling. Team members are trained and educated in understanding their roles and responsibilities in identifying problem gaming behavior, underage gambling, or signs of intoxication.
POLICIES
It is the policy of Swinomish Casino & Lodge to actively participate in Tribal, local, state, and national programs which provide access to help and information for those who may desire it. Swinomish Casino & Lodge works in accord with the Swinomish Tribal Community Wellness Program to offer no cost assistance to anyone seeking help with problem gambling. Contact information for additional programs and resources is available to guests on the Swinomish Casino & Lodge website and displayed on Sportsbook wagering kiosks and other kiosks as available.
Policies have been established to make diligent efforts in preventing underage gambling. Rules and regulations address the requirements for proper identification and response protocol to violations.
In accordance with Washington State Liquor and Cannabis laws, all team members serving alcohol receive mandated training in recognizing signs of intoxication. Swinomish Casino & Lodge provides additional ongoing training for selected employees in its gaming operation to assist in the recognition and reporting of signs of intoxication.
